TOPIC: Standards of Care in Wound Care, the latest in wound care healing
Objectives:
Describe the new pressure ulcer staging guidelines
Integrate 3 principles of wound care with the appropriate treatment choice
Define "Present on Admission" and its implications for acute care facilities
List 3 modern wound care modalities
LOCATION: Orlando Regional Healthcare System- Lucerne Hospital, on the corner of S. Orange Avenue and Gore Street. Classroom 1, in the building at the rear of the hospital. Parking is available in the visitor lot off Gore Street behind the hospital.
FEE: $15.00 for guests and non-chapter AALNC members. There is no charge for Greater Orlando Chapter members.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: 1 contact hour, as part of the total hours of continuing education required for initial licensure and biennial renewal, FL Administrative Code 64B9-5.011. Approved by The Greater Orlando Chapter AALNC, FL Board of Nursing continuing education Provider #2853
